    Is Jesus a Buddhist?

Published by yanjiaren at 9:11 pm under People Edit This

Some people may freak out with the idea that Jesus Christ may actually be Buddhist in Nature but then again what is actually Budddha Nature and what are the qualifications?

Why in the Old Testament there is talk of a God who allowed vengeance as the famous ‘EYE FOR AND EYE AND TOOTH FOR A TOOTH’ saying expresses. Jesus on the other hand was full of compassion and taught ‘GREAT LOVE’ which is what the Buddha preached and was all about. So what ARE the connections between Jesus and Buddhism?
Here a very interesting analogy of events is being hinted upon by a  Dr. Tin Htut who gives some deeply thought out explanations as to why Jesus could be a Buddhist and what He was teaching could be parallel to Buddhist disciplines and behavior. As he was away from Home for over 17 years he had to have gone somewhere and there are many who believe that he went to India to cultivate himself through many spiritual initiations and disciplines where he reached the highest of levels in healing and other great spiritual arts. As he became a Master of himself and has Ascended on High into ‘THE BEYOND’ he was doing his utmost to teach everyone that where is at is a place we could all reach if we had the intention and goodwill.

Wouldn’t surprise me. I would describe Buddhism more as a way of life than a religion too (which is how religions are supposed to be I think) so who knows, maybe Jesus’s buddhist influence played a role in forming early christianity.

The problem is your spicypage.com widget. It’s taking far too long to load. Once it’s done, the remaining widgets, including EC, load reasonably quickly. The same problem is occurring at other sites with spicypage widgets.
