Intermission: My YEKE YEKE on Youtube Vid

Published by yanjiaren under People, spirituality Edit This

Well it has been a week of rough and tumble so I decided to chill and take time out doing the things I love most like singing. I forgot about the Global Economic Crisis a bit and totally indulged in singing one of my favorite songs which is Mory Kante’s Yeke Yeke which came about about 20 odd year ago but I never had the lyrics then and always wanted to learn how to sing it. I had African musician Friends but they didn’t come from Mali or Senegal but mainly from Central Africa so I never got that chance to sing other African music save in Yoruba or Swahili. I did learn a lot of Rai though as I had Algerian Friends too and Rai was big in France and still is and as many Algerians came to the U.K they brought Rai with them. I am a great Khaled and Mami Fan.

Anyway here  is my rendition of Yeke Yeke by Mory Kante and I know it isn’t perfect but it helped me forget my troubles, hope it can bring a smile to you too.

Barack Obama: On social Justice at a national prayer breakfast event.

President Barack Obama made a heart felt speech in the White House Prayer Room today when he engaged every one to view their faith as a form not only of developing a personal relationship with God but also that it is a moral obligation as a person of Faith to seek out Social Justice as a cause and develop empathy among one another. By engaging in dialogue he spoke of the intercession of God’s Grace. In other words if we learn to communicate with each other then God will pour down his Divine blessings and Grace on such an auspicious event.

If we truly want God in our lives then we have to develop at least a God like instinct in order to recognize God in all of our actions. How we speak, eat and above all inter act plays a role in the kind of God consciousness we may awaken in ourselves and above all help awaken in others. Empathy and Compassion are the real driving forces behind true or Divine Love. Without these two components Love can not flow through the Heart of Mankind.

It is time now for real change and Obama is helping to catapult real moral change from within the White House to the rest of the World. If any one can really succeed in the pursut of Happiness then it is definitely Barack Obama.

Do you believe in Reincarnation?

Published by yanjiaren under spirituality Edit This

There is a huge dilemma going on between Eastern Religions and Western disciplines as to whether reincarnation exists or not.

All I can say in a nutshell to this is it really depends from which angle of the Truth you are looking at it from. If you are looking at everything from a linear perspective then you are viewing things through Time in a straight line but if you are looking at Truth from a Cyclic visionary aspect then you can see the cycle of reincarnation as being the most natural occurrence.

I am not here to prove or disprove if reincarnation exists as it is up to the Individual to make his/her own conclusions but there are some startling reports of know persons who claim they have tapped into their past lives. I myself have taken part in past life regression and believe I have existed before, but that is only my biased opinion drawn through my own personal conclusions.

We know of the story between Edgar Cayce and David Wilcock and the stiking resemblance both men have with each other. That is enough to make me believe and have my hairs standing on end.

I like the idea of reincarnation because it makes more sense dealing with cause and effect but not limiting every thing to Karmic reactions as we have Divine Wisdom and other attributes as Compassion that can hep us alter our destinies and assist others to ‘wake up’ from their sleep also. What do you think? Do you believe in Reincarnation? Wink

Food for thought: On attachment and Non Attachment

Published by yanjiaren under spirituality Edit This

Finding balance in our lives and living the Holistic Dream isn’t easy but even with the challenges we face taking care of our bodies is as important as any of our other activities.

People often misunderstand detachment from all ‘THINGS’ as an uncaring attitude towards Creation in general but actually it means Freeing Yourself from any situation. This is self improvement without attainment as you don’t need to attain anything because you are already there anyway.

Let me give you an example.

‘Oh I feel crap today”  or ‘MY LIFE IS CRAP’ Meaning that YOU ARE ATTACHED TO A CRAPPY SITUATION’ which in turn means you will attract even more crap into your life because you don’t detach from that situation.

If you leap outside ‘YOUR CRAP HOOD’ into a space where there is nothing, then you will be detached and be able to see what is actually causing this situation of crap hood.

Love and attachment also are two different things. You can love but be free from needing anyone or anything. In other words you can love but without expecting any thing in return, then once you get to this point whatever goodness does come bouncing back it is a bonus and will be far more valuable. I see in my life the more I let go of anything, the more it is willing to be a part of me because in reality I am Everything, or a part of everything so there is NOTHING TO BE DETACHED FROM ANYWAY.

Now I hope this paradox will make you scratch your head and enjoy your next cup of green tea while you are at it lol.Oh and if you are wondering ‘WHAT the……*****……    IS SHE ON? I don’t take any herbal highs………………………….. Laughing

Aliens, Mantras, the AETHERIUS Society and Interplanetary Parliament.

Published by yanjiaren under spirituality Edit This

Do you believe in Aliens? I always had a fascination since a child and believe that there is more to the Universe than just ‘US’. If we all work together Aliens and Humans we can make this Universe a very funky place to live in indeed don’t you think?
Before you ask me what ‘I AM ON’ let me introduce you to the Aetherius Society which is working hard for the common Galactic Good. Founded by Sir George King, this Foundation for healing and balance has found followers Worldwide.
After studying the Yogic Arts and much Spiritual discipline Sir George was given ‘THE COMMAND’ for inter communication between Extra terrestrial Life forms and Us Earthlings in order to assist in the ‘great SHIFT’ that is about to take place.
Whatever your take is on Aliens and the like it is always good to inquire and have an open Mind. I personally am convinced that there is Life beyond our own as Spiritual Masters have constantly Ascended and can travel beyond the time/space continuum.
Here you can learn much about THE AETHURIUS Society ..Enjoy. It’s better to be a bridge for building Peace than an Ambassador for war so I am all for it.

Mandalas; For healing and meditation.

Published by yanjiaren under news, spirituality Edit This

Mandalas have been used for thousands of years as gateways to other worlds in a spiritual quest for enlightenment. Acting as gateways, mandalas can help the spiritual Seeker gain enlightenment through various practices which include healing and meditation practices.

1. What is a mandala?

The term Mandala originates from Sanskrit, an Ancient language of India and in a light term means ‘circle’ as it is meant to demonstrate a holistic view o the Cosmos or Universe. This is reflected in everything from the Solar System and planets to plant life and other round objects. Originally used in Hindu and Buddhist religious practices Mandalas have now reached Western civilization and have infiltrated into various cultures by way of various communications and traveling Souls.

2.  What is a mandala used for?

Mandalas are used primarily as meditation tools to help merge the micro cosmos (self) with the macrocosm (SELF)  into one unifying state where enlightenment can take place after the fusio of lower and higher self has taken place. These come in various shapes, sizes and colors and you can even create our own mandala to suit your own spiritual needs or temperament.

In Buddhist traditions some mandalas are painstakingly created from ground precious stones or sand and then destroyed only to prove that even mandalas are just an illusion in the Whole scheme of things. Here is a video from Youtube of Tibetan Monks creating a beautiful sand mandala, enjoy!

Also the picture is depicting an Avalokiteshwara Mandala of exceptional beauty and colour.

Positive Thinking Strategies.

Published by yanjiaren under spirituality Edit This

Exploring positive thinking strategies can be easier than we think and it takes just one very simple formula to get the ball rolling. One way to start building up positive energy around us and in our lives is to take out the one element that prohibits the positive to enter our World.

This is to stop being in judgment mode as when we keep judging things, especially things we quite don’t understand we enter into a state f duality/conflict which doesn’t allow for positive energy to flow freely, a little bit like blocked qi.

If we erase the blockage which is being judgemental we can precipitate the flow of qi/energy and also enhance and increase it as we work with it. Starting with ourselves the best way to move forward is to stop self criticism for a moment and look at all of our strengths. If you want to be aware of your weak points, just write them in a boom and leave them there. FOCUS on enhancing your strengths then this way your strength and positive action will negate your negative weak reaction anc cancel out the debilitating parts of your character. Character building isn’t easy but i we can just implement one step at a time then we can build on more complex character enhancing programs as we go along.

Great Change happens with only a minute step and this is what makes a difference and  can bring the beginning of concrete personal development.

2012 Pole Shift - Mayan and I Ching prediction

Published by yanjiaren under spirituality Edit This

What will happen to the Earth in 2012?

Many believe unfortunately to the doom and gloom scenario and that we will be knocked off our Axis by some asteroid or Meteor. Yes something BIG is happening at that time.

Every 25,800 years there is an alignment that is called a pole shift where the electromagnetic fields go haywire and the North and South Poles change places.  This will have a dramatic effect within life on Earth but it won’t be so catastrophic. The Ancient Chinese I ching and the Mayan Calendar show a zero point in their writings and calendars. For many spiritually enlightened Beings this means the dramatic evolution of Mankind into a higher level playing field.

Watch this video and draw your own conclusions. There is going to be change but we are now at a time in our evolution where we can PLAY A PART IN CARVING OUT OUR FUTURE. 2012 will be the year when we will be able to choose doom and gloom or elevated enlightenment. The choice is ours for the taking.

I found also a useful article on the POLE SHIFT s you can take a peak at what others are thinking on this subject.

How to Heal Yourself.

Published by yanjiaren under spirituality Edit This

There are so many formulas out there and self help books on ‘How to heal yourself” that it would take me a few lifetimes just to go through them. I personally feel that the easiest place to start is to find something in our lives that makes us content. Whenever we go to complain it is better to see the opposite of what we are complaining  about, this way we can slowly bring and welcome change in our lives.

Another way  is to focus on eradicating problems that belong to others as this fosters empathy which in turn fosters compassion. When a deep compassion stirs inside of us and we can turn our suffering into a tool to help others then we can also help our wounds to heal in more ways than one.

Of course I believe in receiving and giving healing in the Holistic Healing Arts and you can choose a style of healing that best suits your temperament. Some people like to go to spiritual healers in a church, others like the eastern methods of Reiki or Qi Gong. We all need love and support in our lives, especially when we are vulnerable due to illness or any other life happening that may have induced shock like some form of heavy loss.

Another way to approach self healing is to go the Inward route which would require you to look deep inside with a clear heart to find the deep root cause of your suffering.

The Journey should be just as exciting as the result so we must always remember to actually enjoy the moments we have to heal our selves and eventually others. We will delve in to many self healing techniques as we go along for it is true, you can heal yourself.

Healing and Unconditional Love.

Published by yanjiaren under spirituality Edit This

Healing and Unconditional love are two ingredients that work perfectly together and as long as you have the Unconditional love element then the Healing side can be developed and refined to suit the needs of the Day.
We will in the next few posts cover various methods of healing, where they originated from and how we in our Modern Societies can adapt and use these healing methods in our daily lives to enhance our lives and of all other Beings to life the Planet to it’s purest State.
If you have suffered from illness then you know how painful and stressful that can be not only for yourself but for other loved ones around you seeing you experience the pain of suffering. If even one member of each family unit could take up the Art of healing then the Whole World could be healed in a very short space of time. I personally wish that in Schools they taught children Yoga, Tai Ji and Meditation as that would precipitate self healing on a mass scale and would also act as a preventative method against so many illnesses which would cost State Budges much less in the long term. Maybe it is something we should actually actively lobby for and encourage educational institutions the World Over to try out. I am sure such an experiment would be a huge success. What are your ideas on this? I would love to know.
